Optional Solenoid Valve

• Our optional 24V AC Solenoid Valve #M24SOL, automatically turns on the misting system when the AC kicks in, and automatically shuts off the misting system when the AC turns off. Using it saves water.
• Optional Polyphosphate/GAC Filter
• Our optional polyphosphate & GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) filter #MF6PG help in mitigating hard water (lime buildup) conditions, and remove chlorine from the water. It is highly recommended.

General

• Note: if your AC unit is larger than 5 tons, you can expand the AC mister by purchasing the extension kit #M5EXT.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: We don't recommend the AC mister for location with hard water (even if using it with a Polyphosphate filter). Not because the AC mister doesn't work, but due to the proximity of the nozzles to the AC unit, the mist fall out might create a white film (due to hard water), which might cover the condensing coil fins, and might affect the performance of the condensing coil if not cleaned properly and regularly. If you have hard water and still interested in the AC mister, then buy it at your own risk, and make sure that you clean the condensing coils regularly.
