General

  • Outdoor Cooling: Birds enjoy a cool spot on hot summer days. On hot summer days a mister would drop the outdoor temperature by up to 25 Degrees F (depending on your water pressure, mister layout, and outdoor humidity).
  • Enjoy the Outdoors: Attracts wild birds for bathing, drinking and cooling down, allowing bird lovers to watch and enjoy.
  • Bird Misting Applications
  • Branch Misting: A mister is attached to a branch of a tree, creating a cool environment, allowing wild birds to shower and cool down on hot summer days.
  • Bowl Misting: A mister is attached over a shallow bowl to allow wild birds to bathe safely.
  • Rock Misting: A mister is attached over landscape rocks creating a cascading mist where wild birds can shower.
  • Large Cage Misting: Exotic birds are normally kept in large cages, and on hot summer days misting can cool down their environment (especially if they are rainforest species). Misting should be applied at one side or one corner of the cage, allowing the bird(s) to choose whether or not to get wet (i.e. there should always be a dry section in a large cage).
  • Small Cage Misting: Misting nozzle(s) should never be placed over a small cage forcing a bird to be drenched with water. If you want to cool off a bird in a small cage, place the mister next to the cage with the nozzle pointing away from the cage, so the bird can feel the cool breeze without getting wet.
