EZ Mister

Enjoy your boat, under its Bimini surrounded with misters that would cool you down during hot summer days, and drop the outdoor temperature by up to 25 degrees F (depending on your water pressure).

Note: If you are drawing directly from lake water, we highly recommend a sediment filter to protect the pump and nozzles from any sediment (or any other stuff) suspended in the water.

Installing the EZ Mister is as the name implies, very easy! Run the 1/4" tubing like a cable line, attach a quick-connect fitting with a nozzle every few feet, anchor the tubing using strap-clips, attach the tubing to a booster pump,  and the pump to a water tank (or draw water directly from the lake), turn the  pump on, and enjoy the cool mist That's all it takes.

A Booster Pumps Might be needed!

Some boats might have enough water pressure with their existing pumps, as for those that don't have enough pressure, a booster pump is needed.

Fresh Water vs. Sea Water

• The boat mister kit and booster pumps are designed for fresh water. Using sea water would subject the booster pump and nozzles to a higher rate of wear and tear (i.e. shortening the life of pump and nozzles), because the salt in sea water acts as an abrasive. Consequently the warranty is voided if system is used with sea water.
• On the other hand if you must use the system with sea water, here is a tips to mitigate the effect of salt water: at the end of the day (after using sea water) flush the system with fresh water for at least 5 minutes. This will mitigate the situation and relatively improve the life of the system, however regardless of that once used with sea water the warranty is void.

Note: When drawing water from a lake or the sea, it requires that a filter be used to remove contaminants suspended in the water, this would protect the pump and nozzles too, (noting that none of our filters remove the salt from sea water). There are two types of filters: a washable filter #MF2S, and a throwaway filter #MF6S. You will need to attach a weight to the filter to make it sink down under the surface of the water.
