Normally pets are kept outdoors, and on hot summer days those four legged creatures are affected by the heat just like any human. A Pet mister is the ideal way to keep your pet cool, and protect it from heat exhaustion. By having a pet EZ Mister installed at kennel runs, and pet areas, your pet will feel better, be happier, and act livelier.

Some dogs love playing with water, and they might think that a mister is a drinking fountain. Some young dogs that are not yet trained might want to chew on the misters, fittings or tubing, hence it is recommended that you install the mister system beyond their reach (i.e. the mist could reach them, but they can't reach the misters).

Pet Misting Applications

Tree & Pole Misting: In a fenced back yard a mister attached to a tree, a pole, or a fence, creates a cool environment, allowing pets to cool down on hot days.

Bowl Misting: A mister placed over a pet’s drinking water bowl, offers a cool environment and ample supply of fresh water (this is not recommended for dogs that chew on stuff).

Large Kennel/Cage Misting: Dogs or animals kept in large cages need cooling on hot days, and misting is the best solution. However the cage should be large enough in order not to wet the entire cage. Misting should be applied at one side or one corner of the cage, allowing the animal(s) to move towards the mist, or stay away from the mist (i.e. there should always be a dry section in a cage).

Small Cage Misting: The misting nozzle(s) should never be placed over a small cage forcing an animal to be drenched with water. If you want to cool off an animal in a small cage, place the mister next to the cage with the nozzle pointing away from the cage, so the animal can feel the cool breeze without getting wet.

Note: Pet misters should be located beyond the reach of dogs so that they don't chew on it.

General

• If you have hard water, you need a lime reduction Filter #MF6PG, Otherwise the orifices of your nozzles will get clogged in a short time.
• If you have high sediment levels in your water, you need a sediment reduction Filter #MF6S, Otherwise the orifices of your nozzles will get clogged in a short time.
• If you need extra Tubing or Fittings, you can conveniently add that to your order (see related sections).
• Our misting systems requires a minimum of 45 psi water pressure, depending on number of nozzles used, and amount of water flow.
• Our standard tubing color is Black because it is UV treated, to protect it from the sun's UV rays.
