Mister Pumps

alt Booster Pumps take water from point "A", boost its pressure, and deliver it to point "B" with a much higher pressure, and this is what is needed for misting, because the higher the pressure the finer is the mist.

On the other hand Delivery Pumps deliver water at a much lower pressure, this is why they are not good for misting.

Booster Pumps systems require a Sediment Pre-Filter to protect the pump, and a Post-Filter to protect the nozzles, and stabilize the output pump pressure, (without a post-filter the tubing leaving the pump vibrates due to the pulsation of the pump).

Voltages

We carry two types of Booster Pumps:

24V AC booster pump that runs on 110V AC through a transformer (or 220V AC for overseas).
12V DC booster pump that runs on a 12V DC battery.

Features

Pressurized systems generate finer mist, which cools more efficiently and causes less residual moisture (i.e. more of the mist evaporates, and less mist fall out).
Our pumps are very quiet, that you could hardly hear them.
Our pumps are compact in size, they are about 7" Long x 3.5" Diameter.
Although all our pumps share the same physical size, yet they are labeled as: Small, Medium & Large based on their capacity, and flow rate.
24V AC Booster Pumps require a transformer to convert power from 110V AC to 24V AC for domestic applications, (or 220V AC to 24V AC for overseas applications).
12V DC Booster Pumps require a 12V DC battery to operate, and a battery needs a charger.

Application

Booster pumps are needed in locations where city water pressure is below 45 psi (pounds per square inch), which is not enough to push the water through the fine orifice of the nozzles to give a decent mist.

Locations & where Booster Pumps might be needed

In places where water is stored in atmospheric tanks, and when it comes down by Gravity its pressure would be 14.7 psi.
In remote areas where pressurized municipal city water is not available, and water is to be drawn from a storage tank.
In places where water is pumped from a well, since normally well pups have a pressure below 45 psi.
