Our Standard 1/4" OD Polyethylene Plastic Tubing, NSF (National Science Foundation) Certified are made of high grade plastic, and rated at :

• 230 psi at 70 degrees F, and
• 150 psi at 115 degrees F

Notes:

• If you are using the tubing for extension, you will need a Union #MI to connect the tubing when joining them.
• We offer two options of tubing, with or without the Union #MI

Our Standard Black Tubing is treated to resist ultraviolet (UV) sun rays, they are ideal for misters, and last for many years, for this reason our standard tubing is black in color.

Tube Cutting

• Tube Cutting using a Utility Knife (Utility Knife & Board are Not included), they are shown for illustration only.
• Our polyethylene plastic tubing is very easy to cut to size, and all it takes is a utility knife and a cutting board (such as a small slab of wood). It is essential that the tube cut is straight and clean, so that it would fit perfectly into a fitting. Utility Knife & Board are Not included.

Features

One main feature of our system is that we supply our tubing in a roll, (and not precut and preassembled as our competitors). This saves our customer a lot, because they can custom tailor their mister to match their architectural setup.

We supply the tubing in a roll, this allows you to customize your setup. Here is an example where our feature is very handy. Example: if there is a length of 6' in between that you don't want to mist, then you cut a tube length equal to 2' longer than the length you want to skip (i.e. 8' = 6' + 1' + 1'), where 1' is added to both ends so that they cover half the range of the misters before and after. Competitors offer 2' long precut, preassembled tubing, and that results in waste, because with a precut tubing you are forced to waste three misters in an area that they don't want to mist, where you end up plugging them, yet you paid for that. With our uncut tubing they can utilize those three fittings in another location that you want to mist.
