EZ Mister

A Portable Misting Power Kit is used in conditions where there is no Garden Hose Faucet close by, and no pressurized water, hence such a Kit can be used as a self-contained system in conjunction with a variety of our EZ Mister kits.

A Portable Misting Power Kit consists of:

• Heavy Duty Plastic Water tank
• Booster Pump
• Pre-Filter
• Post-Filter

Applications: picnics, parks, fairs, outdoor trade shows, sports events, camping, beach, etc.

The way this kit operates is that the booster pump draws water from the water tank, pressurizes the water and delivers it to the nozzles to create a fine mist. However power to operate the pump (and the fan in case a fan is used) is needed.

This can be used with your fan to operate a misting fan ring.

The standard booster pump voltage is 24V AC and comes with a 110V AC to 24V AC Transformer, this pump is used in locations where 110V power is available. (Also 220V AC to 24V AC Transformers are available for overseas applications, customer needs to specify that in his order).

IMPORTANT: These are 5 Gallon capacity tanks, they are used to run up to 5 nozzles. Since each nozzles uses 0.75 GPH (Gallons Per Hour), however with the booster pump it uses about 1GPH. Example: a 5 nozzle system would use: 5x1=5 GPH, in other words the 5 Gallon water in the tank would last 5/5=1 Hour approximately. Hence using less than 5 nozzles would extend the time interval between water refills, while using more than 5 nozzles will reduce the time interval between water refills.To check the time interval between water refills, multiply the number of nozzles by "1", then divide "5" by that number, the result will be the time in hours that the 5 gallons would last you.

These 5 Gallon tanks portable kits are not made for use with systems with more than 5 nozzles. For more than 5 nozzles you need larger water tanks. Otherwise you will end up constantly running back and forth for water refills. Here is an alternate: Get our Booster Pump Kit and get yourself a plastic bin from Home Depot (the ones used for garbage can do [but get a brand new one], they come is 25 or 50 gallon sizes), use it as your water cpntainer, and in conjunction with our medium or large (click here) Booster Pump Kits (make sure you select the proper voltage).

12V DC Batteries

In locations where power is not available, a 12V DC Booster Pump is used in conjunction with a 12V DC Battery, (our batteries are deep-cycle, totally enclosed, Jell type, they are safer battery types). Additionally a Battery Charger is needed. The way this works, is by charging the battery at home, then the battery would run the booster pump at location.

VERY IMPORTNAT: Never use car or truck batteries that contain liquid acid, they are a health hazard and might cause injuries if the acid spills out.
