Sliding Door Mister Demo, 1':32"
Sliding Door Mister: If you don't have a patio, you can still install a mister along the edge of your roof, (the patio mister doubles as a sliding door mister). Install it at the edge of your roof locating it above your sliding door and windows, this usually extends about 2' from your side wall. running the mister would cool down that side wall, especially when the sun is shining directly at it. It will cut down the cost of running your air conditioning system because it drops down the heat transfer.
Glass doors and windows are less of a resistant heat to transfer resistant to Sun rays than walls. This is why a room with a sliding doors and couple of windows heats up much faster than a room with no sliding doors (especially if it is a South wall). An EZ Mister system installed in front of a sliding door solves this problem, because the misting forms an excellent barrier from heat preventing the Sun from heating the inside of your room (that has the sliding door).
Note: The Mist changes direction depending on which direction the wind is blowing, therefore if you happen to have your sliding door open (which by the way brings cool breeze into the room), make sure that you don't have anything in the vicinity of the open sliding door (or open window) that could become wet and damaged with the mist if the wind blows in that direction.

Note: The above sizes can be expanded by using one or more 5-Nozzle Extension Mister Kit #M5EXT-N.
Balcony Mister: If you live in an apartment with a balcony, you can use a Diverter Valve on your kitchen faucet to connect your mister tubing to, and enjoy your balcony on hot days.
The same EZ Mister packages used for Patio applications, could be used for sliding door applications. One has 10 nozzles and the other one has 5, however you could expand your set using one or more of the 5 nozzle extension kit(s).
Installing the EZ Mister as the name implies, is very easy! Run the 1/4" tubing like a cable line, attach a quick-connect fitting with a nozzle every two feet, anchor the tubing using nail clamps, attach the garden hose adapter to your garden hose faucet, and turn the on the water! That's all it takes.
